Originally from the New Jersey Shore, Dr. Maguire began his academic career at Fordham University in New York City, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences/Pre-Med in 1992.
Following graduation, Dr. Maguire was selected for a healthcare internship at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. His experience at Bellevue provided an important introduction to clinical healthcare and helped inspire his decision to pursue a career in dentistry.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1997.
After dental school, Dr. Maguire continued his postgraduate training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, completing a General Practice Residency in 1998.
His residency provided advanced clinical experience in comprehensive general dentistry and helped prepare him to care for patients with a broad range of dental needs.
Following completion of his residency, Dr. Maguire returned to Boston and joined Dental Associates of New England in 1998. He has been an integral part of the practice ever since.
